What happens if I have a complication after returning home?
Contact your coordinator straight away — the same person who looked after you in Antalya, by WhatsApp or phone. Send photos of the area; the assessment is made together with the doctor who operated on you. We then work out whether it can be treated where you live — we provide your surgical records and medical reports for that — or whether coming back to Antalya makes sense. For acute symptoms such as severe pain, fever, breathlessness or sudden swelling, go to your nearest emergency department first and tell us afterwards.
