What is PRK (Photorefractive Keratectomy) Eye Surgery?
PRK is a treatment method so that myopia, hyperopia or astigmatism is corrected by performing Excimer Laser. Unlike the LASIK method of PRK treatment, a thin flap is not prepared with an incision in the cornea, but the epithelial layer on top of the cornea is resected and the Excimer Laser is performed on the underlying tissue and the Refractive error is corrected.
