How long do I need to stay in Turkey after the procedure?
Plan for 4 night 5 days in Antalya for this procedure. Of that, 4 days is the hospital stay; for the rest you are at your hotel, with check-ups in between. A final check-up takes place before you fly home — you are only cleared to travel after it. Combined procedures can require a longer stay.
When can I fly after surgery?
You are cleared to fly home only after your final check-up — for this procedure typically after 4 night 5 days. Do not fly earlier, even if you feel fine: your doctor decides based on wound healing. You are given guidance for the flight.
When can I go back to work and exercise?
For a mainly desk-based job, expect around 10 days. Physically demanding work, sport, sauna and swimming take considerably longer and are cleared individually at your check-up. Going back to full activity too early is one of the most common reasons for a poorer result.
What happens if I have a complication after returning home?
Contact your coordinator straight away — the same person who looked after you in Antalya, by WhatsApp or phone. Send photos of the area; the assessment is made together with the doctor who operated on you. We then work out whether it can be treated where you live — we provide your surgical records and medical reports for that — or whether coming back to Antalya makes sense. For acute symptoms such as severe pain, fever, breathlessness or sudden swelling, go to your nearest emergency department first and tell us afterwards.
